High 3 monthly Electricity AGL Bills

I am still in shock over my 3 monthly AGL Electricity Account.  I have solar panels, pay on time discount and still the account is $370.00.  I don't have children, never use heating and have very few devices on standby and only wash one a week with a very new energy efficient front loader.  I have a smart meter.  I have never had such a high account like this before.  In past years I have used my heating.

Thanks Deepesh,

Ive purchased smart meters and we've been moving them around the house as
turning off and on each appliance with a baby is a logistical nightmare.

There are some items which we can't check directly, like the hot water
system, as its hardwired and on a timer.

Could it be possible our meter itself is faulty? Is there a way to check
this, or do we contact energex?

Hi MrDavo, We can liaise with Energex and the metering coordinator to test the meter however, they usually come with fees which is why we usually recommend that as a last resort. I'll send you a private message shortly to discuss further. Cheers, Deepesh

Yes please. Our bill is 3 times the normal, I'm sure the fee would be a
fraction of my bill.
