Hello,
"General
Usage Next" typically refers to higher rate applied for electricity usage beyond certain threshold. It's possible there was significant increase in your usage or billing error. Contact your utility provider immediately to clarify and resolve this unexpected charge.

Best Regards,
Ellen Hogan

Hello @Jojo123456789

Thank you for reaching out.

I can this why this would be alarming, especially when you have not seen 'General Usage Next' on your invoices before. It is never pleasant to see a big increase on our bill, there may be a number of reasons why you might see a higher bill than expected. We have a list of a few things to check on our Unexpected high bill help page.

The 'General Usage Next' could be appearing on your bill due to the tariff structure set by your distributor, however, we can certainly check your account and review your tariff and latest invoice. I'll send you a private message and get some details from you.

Kind Regards,

Natalie

Thanks for response. I have called AGL and the issue has been resolved. My meter read was done as my neighbours instead of my own.
