Contract rollover without notification or consent

Is it legal for AGL to roll me into a new long term plan that is more costly than my previous agreed to contract without my consent, approval or notification?

The website states that as soon as they send the notification it is automatically recieved by the customer.

I recieved no such notification and am now in a 2 year plan that is nowhere near the same comparrison as my previously agreed to contract.

Should I go directly to the AER and energy ombardsman or has anyone had an equitable result with AGL around this issue?

Spent 60mins on hold this afternoon before I hung up. Is there a contact for a customer resolution specialist I can call?

Ring during the day, get transferred to "resolution" department where someone local (australian) will assist you - maybe! (this happed to me and was the only way to resolve previous issues). so good luck.

Hi @Tutock, what we'll do is take a look at the account for you and see what's gone on there. I'll just send you a private message to get started! Thanks- Mark.
