You doubled my bills bc i extended the payment date!

I've reported this multiple times and been told it was a glitch and it would be resolved within 5 days - and unsurprisingly nobody has done a thing about it.

 

I logged into the app to extend my payment date for both gas and electricity and the minute i hit the button for the request, it DOUBLED the amount due. I immediately went onto the chat and reported it, the guy told me it'd be fixed and he manually went and extended my second bill (thinking this would go around the glitch) but of course that one doubled too. I have screenshots of the conversations, the amounts due etc. 

 

I just paid the amounts due in both my electricity and gas bills and the app still shows the doubled amount as due. CAN SOMEONE PLS FIX THIS AND REFLECT THE AMOUNTS AS PAID BEFORE THE NEXT BILL AMOUNTS GET ADDED TO THESE! This is honestly ridiculous.

This exact thing hs just happened to my electricity bill, but not my gas. I called customer service but he ciuld only confirm that the singular amount was the correct amount on their end, but did not mention anything on how to fix. I’ve made a partial payment today to see if it would self- correct itself but the amount is still pending. But thanks to your post, I won’t hold my breath. It sounds like a glitch then, and I’ve taken screenshots in case I need to spak with AGL again. Your issue status is not truely resolved yet. Thankyou for sharing!
