Re: Estimated bills and service charges

Hi David_AGL, mine was "estimated" too. They said, "no access", the last time this happened, we were getting work done for our unit complex. I said, I won't pay and I dont pay "estimates". How do I stop this? We had the option of a "smart meter", I said no thanks.Apparently, it's being re-read soon. I'm pretty cheesed off. Also, the techies on the internet want US to read OUR meters. Isn't that what a "meter reader" does?

Re: Energy rebates

It depends on when your bill is issued. You ought to have received two by now.

Re: AGL is installing new Net Digital Meters for free, but is there on-going fees?

Hi CatherineG, I'm expecting one too at my unit complex. We haven't been given any information on how our prices will change, except increase, nor about off-peak and normal usage. And I'm assuming if one unit gets it,we all do.Please clarify.

Re: Misinformed on digital meter

How does one "locate a tariff which is more beneficial"? I mean, you can't negotiate with the supplier, can you? "Please, sir, I want an off-peak tariff from 7pm to 4am as I'm a night-owl and want to be up all night and turn it off, except for my fridge from 3am to 6pm". seems ridiculous. Please explain. How do you do this? Will a smart meter actually reduce the estimated bills and wastage and abuse? Thanks.
