The way i solved my problem in the end is buying and Efergy Engage hub and monitor to monitor my actual usage.Has a small transmitter that clips onto the wires in your Electricity Box and then sends the data wirelessly (bluetooth i think, it doesnt use a sim card or anything) to a small hub device that you'd set up next to your Wifi Router. @Thad19 - congratulations mate, after asking numerous people on this forum, and emailing AGL and phoning AGL, and the company that manages the meter and reading the manual, etc etc - you're the first to actually be able to tell me how to do this. any idea if there's any docco to explain which of the extra viewable readings is which?

Thanks Schander. What you suggest i'm pretty much doing already. I was, however, after a way to get immediate live readings of current usage.Its becoming apparent that its likely that AGL/Ausgrid dont offer this type of data on the type of meter i have. What i'll probably end up doing is going doing the Efenergy monitor route, which you suggested. Its a bit more $ invested, but will provide some good live data and analysis, which would be interesting to see. thanks,Dimitry
