Totally agree - my bill tells me i am spending ~20% on power than this time last year, and check the usage. How about you show the cost of power breakdown (price increases over each element of the bill) over the past 5 years for comparison next to power usage? If it makes you feel better you can include CPI, but at least be transparent on your gauging.
