Hello, we recently moved into a new build. We are two adults and our first bill for 66 days was $717. Furthermore our house only uses gas for hot water and cooktop. Our landlord says it’s very odd. We kept an eye on the meter and made comparisons while nothing was in use. And it’s slowly moving. Also does anyone know what ‘start read’ means on the bill? Does this mean someone was using the gas before we moved in?
