Re: MK&A Meter Reading

Hi, Sorry to respond to an old post, but I was hoping you might be able to help me out. You mentioned you've got a controlled load? What tariff are you on? Do you know anything about tariff 35 (ie when or how long its on). I've been trying to get the information from agl without much luck. I assume you mean Mk7A? I'm guessing by know you have got the information you need elsewhere but just in case if you google "MK7A meter reading" there is a pretty good document online.

Re: Limited hotwater after smart meter install

Do you know if your hot water on a controlled load previously? Its a guess, but if it was, then when the new meter was installed it may not yet be configured for the correct tariff. Tariff 31 is normally only on for 8 hours overnight. Its cheaper, but if your hot water service isn't large enough you will run out. Tariff 33 is 18hrs a day. AGL also offer tariff 35 on smart meters, but I can't find any information on this tariff.

Controlled Load on Tariff 35

Hi, I'm about to migrate a number of my appliances to a controlled load. I already have a smart meter Mk7a and I'm currently an AGL customer. AGL have "Smart Control Tariff 35" listed on the Retail Contract Residential Rates, but there is no details on when or how long it's on for. Tariff 31 is usually min 8 hrs overnight, and Tariff 33 18hrs. Does anyone know when, or how long a day Tariff 35 on for? I've tried getting in touch with AGL by phone for this info, but have been on hold for anywhere ...
