I noticed this phenomenon last summer and have started recording the solar power being produced by my panels from the invertor and what AGL is charging me at any given time via the Powerpal app. At 11.03am this morning my panels were generating 7.1kW, the powerpal app said I was drawing 2.8kW from the grid.
