I noticed this phenomenon last summer and have started recording the solar power being produced by my panels from the invertor and what AGL is charging me at any given time via the Powerpal app.
At 11.03am this morning my panels were generating 7.1kW, the powerpal app said I was drawing 2.8kW from the grid. I had a 5.5kW bore pump running and sundry household items such as fridge and computer.
I have heard from people in my area when the sun is out and a lot of solar power s being generated by rooftop solar AGL are blocking solar generated power from being used as their system cannot cope.
Could I please get a response from AGL why this is occurring
