Weird Inverter shutdown

In recent days my inverter has shut down due to "AC voltage too high".

The weird thing is that this has happened early morning before the sun has hit my solar panels.

It hasn't happened during the day when I am feeding the grid.

Should AGL provide a reason or has something gone wrong with their system?

Dave

Hi David!

If your inverter is shutting down or not running properly we recommend touching base with your solar installer as they are the ones who installed it they will be able to give you an idea of what is happening and if anything needs to be done.

Thank you

Ellen

The only time the 'over voltage' happens is prior to the inverter waking up in the morning. It doesn't activate until sun hits the panels and the 'over voltage' always happens prior to any power being made.

Cheers,

Dave

Hi Dave!

I understand that must be frustrating for you, I still recommend that you contact your solar installer. They will be able to tell you this is normal or if it needed to be looked at.

Thank you

Ellen
