Questions and discussion about solar, batteries, and electrification
That should be all automatically tied to your property and metering @Lucyloo98
Wait and see what advice AGL can provide, but I would just call them on 131245 and ask, it's faster.
Do you have an app that shows the solar is working ?
It's possible to probable you do not, being installed by the previous owner (or maybe even someone before them).
Older systems don't have apps, they can have LED readouts on the inverter to give production, usage, grid feed etc.
Sometimes the LED readouts fail too, so it could be producing something, but not showing it.
Don't assume it is working, a lot of older systems are simply left to run until they no longer provide any feed in, sometimes just panel degradation, sometimes a wiring issue or inverter failure happens (quite often).
I would get a local solar company to come out and give you a solar system health check, they can look at all aspects of the system and let you know of any issues, they can possibly help you get any app working for you to check how it's working for you.
If outdated, not working or such, you can upgrade a little cheaper to new solar, with conduits in place, and less work for the new solar company to install new panels and inverter.
Modern systems, panels / inverters, are much more beneficial over older system components.
Good luck, hopefully you can get it sorted and it will still be a benefit to you in future.
