Controlling the home battery system

AGL notified I'm now on their battery rewards plan connection, non VPP. But my system is controlled by VPP and unable to get back the control. The chat system knows not much, asking to talk to another team of AGL. why is this ?

Both can be run independently or together, so maybe you somehow signed up for VPP as well.

Should be easy to get sorted once an AGL rep replies here, or you call them on 132345.

Chat is very crude AI, almost useless and frustrating, can't recall if an actual person actually comes along, but I usually just finish the chat and call AGL.

Thanks for reaching out. If you're not currently enrolled in AGL's VPP, it's possible that your battery is still connected to your previous retailer's VPP program. In that case, they may still have control of your battery system, which would explain why you're unable to regain control.

We'd recommend contacting your previous retailer and asking them to check whether your battery is still connected to their VPP. If it is, they'll need to disconnect or offboard your system before full control can be returned to you.

Once that's been completed, you should be able to manage your battery as normal.
