Hi Agl

Is there an API available so i can pull my usage data ( same data found in the downloadable scv at https://myaccount.agl.com.au/usage )  from my agl account to a database i'm creating to analyse my solar generation across multiple system and my power usage

Any updates on this API being made available by AGL?  With CDR well and truly underway in the market across various industries, isn't high time to expose the USAGE data as an API to get ahead in the market.  With 5 minutes settlement projects implementation is nearing completion by the market (AEMO), I think it would be a great edge over competitors if AGL externalize the usage data in the form of API.  Happy to have further discussion about this API's value proposition if this idea is still under consideration.

It would be fantastic to have an API! +1 for it.

This would make possible tones of open source development to enchance the whole user experience. In addition, this would make possible to integrate electrical data with other sub systems such as IoT or domotic. Possibilities are endless!

I would definitely build a graphana/kibana dashboard to see my electrical consumption. I also would love to analyse the data and create AI models to predict my monthly bill.

Creating an easy and flexible API is the first step for a inter connected world

Hi David,

I believe AGL already implemented the API to support the AGL mobile app. You just need to provide the details. The AGL app already accesses the API and pulls the usage data. My use case is to pull the usage data once every day and alert if the usage is more than the threshold and to check what's causing the surge and take necessary actions. Hope this helps.

+1 from me. I use Home Assistant too. It would be fantastic to be able to include AGL data in my setup.

+1 from another user of Home Assistant. I'll also be investigating whether I can get the info from my local electricity distributer, SA Power Networks (SAPN), as they have a "Your Meter Data" service:

https://www.sapowernetworks.com.au/your-power/manage-your-power-use/your-meter-data/

However, the personal data AGL provided to SAPN on my sign-up to AGL was incomplete. As a result, SAPN can't verify me as the account holder of the meter I'm requesting access to and so can't comment on the SAPN service.

1+ for an API to pull usage and feed in data. I'm also using home assistant and with the energy management features having integration with AGL electricity would be awesome. It's basically there already. I took a look at the "usage" page in the browser dev tools and observed "jsonGraph" returning the json usage data (shown below). C'mon AGL you can do it!
