Questions and discussion about modems and other hardware used to get online with AGL
Hi @Dubb_zee
Thank you for reaching out to us.
With the landline, we will need you to call us on 131245 and we can look into this for you.
If you didn't sign up for a landline then once the internet order has been processed, we won't be able to get a landline on the account for you.
Regarding the admin portal for the modem, you will have to make sure you're connected to the Wi-Fi, no mobile data, and follow the link on the modem if you're using our own modem.
Our connection will either be dynamic or PPPoE, we can change that for you if you call us on 131245.
Thank you, Sheena

Thanks Sheena, I should've been clearer.
I don't require a landline so we can ignore that.
I think the issue I'm hitting is when I log into the admin portal of the Optus modem (SAGECOM) it refers to connection type as 'PPP'. If that is the case, would I be able to use that modem for AGL NBN?
Hi @Dubb_zee
I really appreciate you confirming this to me.
What I can recommend, is if the internet isn't working with us while the connection is set to 'PPP', please give us a call on 131245 so we can trouble shoot the service and see if we can change the configuration to connect with AGL.
Thank you, Sheena
