Charged for unused sim cards

AGL (who I use for electricity) called and offered some sim cards a month and a bit ago. Told me there was no cost to me if they weren't used. Fast forward a month and none have been activated, still all in the envelope and I've now received a phone bill? Has anyone else ended up in a similar situation?

Hi @IcedVovo, if you were told there'd be no cost and you subsequently received a bill, that's concerning. I personally haven't heard of this happening before, but it's definitely something we would need to address. Did you get in touch with customer service about this?

Hello,

There are slipped in a new rule about unused prepaid SIM cards with lifetime validity which states that the number will be disconnected after 20 days of inactivity. Is that right?
