Time on smart meter online data

My AGL app tells me the electricity consumption  at hours like 5:30 am etc. My property is under construction and the only time electricity is consumed is when trades turn up after 8 am and before 6 pm.

Is data showed on app accurate or just made up?

The app is accurate if the data is being received by a smart meter. If it is estimated if will say so on the usage overview, otherwise it would be correct. 

I recommend having a chat with the tradies about if everything is switched off when they leave and if you would like us to review your usage times for you we absolutely can, just reach out to us here.
