Smart meter upgrade has resulted in loss of power to the oven

Our meter was upgraded to a Smart Meter today and since then we have had electricity but the oven no longer works. Has anyone experienced this? Does it need a reboot?

I suggest that you check your meter box and ensure that all the breakers are turned on.

 

If you still have wire fuses then you will need to remove them to check that the wire is intact.

It turned out to be related to the oven clock. Odd but true. Resetting the clock enabled the entire oven to then switch on.
