Questions and discussions about your electricity and gas meters, connections, disconnections and more
Hi Gibbster.
I don't think (sure in fact) it is possible to see data real time, at least from the AGL app etc.
The network provider you have wherever you are sends the data to the retailer (AGL) late the next day.
You will need a simple > electricity usage meter <
(Google that, there are plenty out there, not the ones that plug into a single power point though.)
These are great to have and see real time what the carious appliances use, and give you real time and historical data on your power usage.
Helps you change habits, use power more efficiently / save some $, and probably longer term maybe convince you to go solar if it suits your home situation / usage habits.
Before we went solar and have the solar app that does what you want to monitor usage, we had a different power meter on our old analogue meters, clipped on around wires in behind meter box wall on all 3 phases to measure power use real time.
These digital meters are even easier to set up.
