Offpeak and batteries

I have recently installed a battery.  We have offpeak for hot water.  When the offpeak circuit activates the charge is drawn from the battery.  However i am charged the full offpeak rate at the same time, which i hope is some kind of setup issue or something.  Trying to work out if its the battery provider or agl to contact to discuss?

Congratulations on the new battery. From the sounds of it I'd say it is a configuration issue on how it's drawing energy. If you contact our dedicated battery team they'll be able to look into this and advise you on the best way forward.
