Gas abolishment / removal of meter

Hi

We are waiting to have our house demolished to start a new build. We weren't allowed to submit the gas abolishment paperwork until the house was vacant so it was submitted 10 days ago. The electricity and water was abolished straight away so we are just waiting for the gas abolishment to start the build, is there any way of knowing when this will be completed? Thanks

Gas meter removals typically have a 20 business day turnaround time, so it's not unusual that this has not been completed just yet. Can I ask if our New Connections team have been in touch with you recently?
