Electricity is working but in AGL app show Connection is progress

Hi, I have a question. My new rental was scheduled to have its electricity connected this past Monday (14/1/25), but my AGL app still shows "connection is progressing". Is this normal?, as my property is an apartment and I don't know where the main switch needs to be turned off?

Hi Deewong857,

 

Your service may show in progress up to 3 weeks after the connection date, depending on how long it takes for the meter reading to be sent to us to activate your account.

 

However this should not impact your electricity supply at all. You will get an SMS from us to advise when the connection has been completed, from here you can turn the main switch on to use the supply.
