App still displaying “connection in progress” for electricity and gas

I moved into a property on the 18th of June 2024 and was recommended to use AGL. Since moving in and setting up my account with AGL my app only displays “connection in progress” with both gas and electricity. 

I’ve been in contact multiple times about this. Both verbally and via the live chat option. All times I’ve been told “it’ll update within 24-48 hours”. The last time I made contact about this was the 16th of July. The app is still displaying connection in progress.

Hi CodyR, Usually once we receive information from your energy distributor about the move in reading, the app gets updated to "Connected" status. This at times can take up to 20 business days. I will send you a private message shortly to discuss further. Cheers, Deepesh
