Why is my NBN performance with AGL so abysmal?

A snapshot of today's NBN performance (see below).  
I have tried restarting the modem. Unfortunately, it is not helping. 

How can I fix this?

Hi Delano.

Sorry to hear you're not getting good performance on AGL internet. Which plan are you on?

Might be worth checking whether there's any incidents affecting your area -  https://telcostatus.agl.com.au/

But barring anything outstanding there and if your speeds are frequently poor, the best course of action is probably to give us a call, and let Support know about the speed test scores you're seeing.
