Optus Modem as BYO

Hey guys,

I'm currently with Optus but was wondering if my modem would work as a BYO as I'm considering switching as I'm with AGL Energy. It's an OPTUS Ultra Wi-Fi Gen 2. I've heard that some Optus modems work but was wondering if it works with no issues such as if I were to get one AGL recommends.

That modem is unlocked, and is able to be used with our service. If you need help setting it up, please contact our support team on 131 245 Mon-Fri or refer to the device manufacturer.

Some Optus modems might need a firmware update or manual adjustments to work smoothly so you can try this way.
