reduced payment for solar feed

It is a bad thing that the standard feed-in tariff has been reduced to 5cents per kWh.  The power generated by our investment is then sold by AGL for between 33 and 49 cents, reducing the incentive to install solar panels.

Yes, in most parts of Oz, the only benefit to pure solar is to be home using it through the day.

Unless you have a battery, then as long as you have a decent production, you can almost kiss bills goodbye.

Excess feed in should hopefully cover the supply charge, until power cos / retailers change the rules again.
