On sighting my Electricity Bills from May 2024 to Mar 2024 I have noted that I am still due one more 'VIC-AUS Gov Bill Relief payment of $75.00cr.'
As I understand it, Gov promised eligible members will receive $300 credit on their electricity bill over the 2024—25 financial year (1 July 2024 to 30 June 2025), broken up into 4x 'Gov Bill Relief payment of $75.00cr' paid Quarterly.
Q - Since AGL have just manipulated electricity billing to change from Quarterly to Monthly, does that mean the last 'Gov Bill Relief payment of $75.00cr' will no longer be paid? - Or will it be paid on one of my next few bills?
Thoughts anyone?

Heya @MAL1966
Those 4 payments could still see one owing, due to various dates of billing and when the first one was paid.
We started on a late cycle after the starting date . . .
Looking at > Billing > Transactions in our AGL account, we had one rebate made in each mid Aug 2024, early Oct 2024, and last one in early Jan 2025, so expect we will have a final one coming for next bill.
You obviously checked your AGL app billing > transactions list and saw just 3, so will likely get one more for the next bill.
It could be the move to monthly billing may affect this, not sure, but monthly billed customers got it in up front lump sums I think (from memory of past posts here).
I also think you can stay on quarterly billing if you prefer, at least you could when I was switched back a few months ago (I also got switched without notice too, and hated the idea of 12 payments a year vs 4).
There was (and might still be) and option to switch back to quarterly, but where I changed back in the Billing > Payment options window, that looks no longer possible there.
You might have to call them and ask.
My gut feel on the shifting from quarterly to monthly is possibly tied to how costly power has become now, and still more increases to come, combined with all the other cost of living increases.
AGL is probably having trouble with some accounts with making larger quarterly payments in the higher amounts they've become, and think people will cope better smaller monthly payments.
It probably helps with cashflow too, but I think struggling consumers and late payments is a big issue.
