Paid electricity bill twice

Hey everyone! Long story short, Paid my gas bill on the 9th of Oct, checked my portal yesterday and it said the bill was overdue, panicked and paid again. After checking with customer support they told me the 1st payment has alreayd gone through, it just didnt get updated yet. so will my 2nd payment turn into a credit?

Yes, your account will be in credit. You can either use the credit for future bills, or get in touch with us to have it paid out to you.

My electricity bill was paid twice.  Once by direct debit and I also paid on my credit card.  Can you refund my account please.
