I have changed energy provider. Apparently I have a credit with AGL (according to an email message yesterday). I would like this refunded, p[ease.

Been with AGL for 7 years now, have never asked for a refund. In July each year a cheque arrives in the mail.
We got a bill on the 30Jun25 and we had a credit of $544.37.
A cheque arrived later for "Refund - Cheque $283.09" leaving us still in $261.28 credit in the account.
Our Bill in Dec25 showed that we had $478.63 credit
At the moment our account (9Jan26) is $508.63 in credit, our next projected bill is $218.52 and we are 17 days into the bill. Higher than normal but we are in SA and have had the AC running more than normal.
We are currently paying $30 per fortnight into the account but the projected bill states $34 is the required amount.
By the way our normal bill is around the $150 mark
If this maintains till the end of Feb26 we will increase the payment to maybe $35.
So even if they send you a refund cheque, you can simply put it back into your AGL account.
