Electricity bill confusion

I paid my bill before the due date and on the AGL account it says I paid, yet the new bill pdf that I received in the email says that I need to pay last month's bill together with this month's bill. I am confused about how much I need to pay this month? I tried the AI chat but it was not helping me at all, and there is no email address I can contact to clarify my bill. It would be great if AGL could contact me to clarify the bill.

Thanks for reaching out.

It appears you’re on monthly billing. As your bill due date approaches, the new bill is generated and may include a reference to your previous payment.

If you’ve already paid the amount from the previous bill, and the current bill shows two payments, you only need to pay the new charges

 

if you want to avoid this in the future, You can ask the team to put you on quarterly billing
