Can i set up up direct debit contributions per month to go towards and upcoming electrcity bill? And if so, how do I set this up? The direct debit option online doesn't allow me to enter a specific amount. It appears to allow debit the full amount of the bill.

@LMJ

On your bill you will find a section called "How TO Pay"

In the section B PAY  you will see the necessary details to pay AGL via B PAY using the Biller Code and your reference number.

You can set this up to pay as much as you like on your paydays or one off payments.

We use this method to pay Electricity / Water / Council rates etc every pay day.

We over pay the amount and as such all of our accounts are in credit. Our council rates are in fact one year in advance...

Hope this helps...

Cheers Neil

Hi @LMJ

You can set up Bill Smoothing, this looks at what your usage has been and breaks it down to smaller amounts to pay.

Otherwise, what @NeilC suggested is also an option that you'll be able to follow to do this yourself.

Thank you, Chris
