In June, we rolled out an exciting upgrade to AGL Assistant - our virtual assistant is now powered by Generative AI!
This means when you reach out for help through AGL Assistant (on agl.com.au, in My Account, or through the AGL app), you’ll now get faster, more accurate, and more helpful answers - tailored to your specific query.
Previously, the Assistant relied on pre-set responses and links to Help & Support pages. Now, with Generative AI in place, it’s smarter and more conversational. It can:
- Understand your question in more detail
- Respond using up-to-date content from our Help & Support pages
- Offer information that’s clearer and more relevant to your needs
You can chat with the upgraded AGL Assistant anytime:
- By tapping the chat icon in the AGL app
Currently, GenAI handles some of the most common topics - and we’re adding more soon!
