Do you have an old analogue meter ?

If not on the app or web login, it usually indicates you have a digital smart meter that does not require manual reading.

Ok the app isn't showing my solar feed in amount, so i was thinking that i would need to submit a read to get it recorded against the account.

Thanks for your reply.

Ok Scott, so you have a solar system about a month old ??

Has your meter been upgraded to digital, if it was still old analogue ?

There are so many possibilities here, if there is an analogue meter still fitted to the home, you might be just getting it slowed and even winding back during solar production . . . not something the power co wants, as you benefit best from that . . . usually this is very short in time as a digital meter is fitted in 99.9% of solar installs.

Without knowing what you've got there, no one can help here.

I would go back to the solar company who did your system (if it is that that's new), they are supposed to organise all this with your DNSP, who come out (or more likely a contractor sent) to fit a new meter.

They SHOULD be communicating all this with you, but many don't 😕

They should be commissioning the system totally to suit your needs, making sure it's all working properly, but again, many don't 😕

It's usually left up to you to make sure you get the best retailer and plan for your setup . . . solar alone, solar and battery, big or small setup, etc.

There are so many options for those different factors.

Good luck with it all, once working as it should, most systems assist the budget greatly if set up right, and set up for the individual owners usage / needs.
