Have you got Control Load 2 or any other control load which runs during the day?

I have the same issue, after some research it came down to the Control Load 2 kicking in during the day. Apparently, AGL has this configured to be excluded from any solar production. A while ago I had this idea to turn on Control Load 2 which allows the hot water to heat during the day. Using a timer I could program it to come on during the day at the redued $$ rate. If the sun was out I was expecting free hot water.... not the case as it seems.

Hi, Im having a similar argument where I am producing enough power at the same time my Control Load 2 kicks in during the day. When I look at 5 min intervals I still have a lot more Solar then the control load is using. I am being told this is how it is.... there is 2 different meters for Controal Load and Mains... and the solar will only impact the mains. It will never have any effect on the Control Load. So much for trying to be sustainable and reduce my carbon foot print... But when talking ...
