My solar system is generating up to 7KW to the battery and the house in the mornings (on the shortest day of the year). Once the battery is full the house will take .3KW and the remaining solar should feed into the grid. I have noticed that the solar production then is throttled back to 5KW plus the .3KW for the house. My contract states that there is a 10 KW limit.
