trying to upgrade to a smart meter (with solar panels)

Hi,

Trying to upgrade standard meter to smart metre I also have solar panels  - installed about 6-8 yrs ago maybe more... Ive been told I need a PV-SEG number before i can book  to convert to a smart/solar metre. Ive tried getting hold of electricians (multiple) intial contact fine but when i tell them what i need thats the end. I dont know what to do.  any suggestions   - dejected from Adelaide
