Smart Meter Manual

Hi. Has anyone ever been able to locate or have provided a manual for their Smart Mater  (Landis+Gyr E355). I have contacted AGL several times (also Intellihub, the meter provider - they wont speak to non-retail people) and had no success. I have spoken to the AGL escalation team at least twice who have said they can get a copy and there is no reason I cant be provided with it yet after months of interaction with them no manual has been forth coming. The manual is not available on the Landis website and there are numbers of people trying to obtain a copy on various forums. There are some Youtube videos of peoples opinions on how the meter reads and functions but I want the actual user manual to be sure my understanding of its use and operation is correct. One would think its a state secret considering how difficult it is to get.

These sorts of threads come up often for various meters, and it's usually the same sort of thing, hard to find, sometimes impossible it seems.

In saying that, I just did a quick Google on there too, and this happened to come up . . .

Very little else, and judging from past threads and lack of online info, you might not have much luck, but good luck in your search anyway.

Hi Lester. Thanks for your comprehensive reply.

I have seen the references that you mention on the web and Youtube, but none of them

are definitive unfortuneately.

The E350 meter is different so I wasn't able to gain anything from that.

It is strange that there is no E355 manual available on the Landis website though,

and highly frustrating that AGL have not been any help.

No problems . . . yes it's very odd about why these are not easier to get from somewhere online.

Maybe it has something to do with protecting meters from being hacked ?

I know other brands of meters have been on the forum before regarding this, my Atlas meters also have very little info about them anywhere online.
