I’d like some help with my recent electricity bill for 5 July – 3 October 2025 (Account Number: removed personal details)
My daily usage this quarter shows 16.7 kWh, which is almost double compared to the same period last year (8.3 kWh). Me and my roommate haven’t change any habit of using electricity , so this big increase doesn’t seem to make sense. Our bill never over 500$ per quarter, so this 600$ with relief is ridiculous and not acceptable.
Could you please:
1. Confirm the meter readings used on my bill match the actual meter at my property?
2. Provide a daily (or hourly) usage breakdown so I can see when the higher usage happened?
3. Explain how the NSW Bill Relief ($150) has been applied, as the final amount due ($601.82) is a bit unclear.
4. Advise me how to request a meter test if needed?
