Energy Insights Not Available/Install Smart Meter

Hello All,

Iam in QLD and my AGL account for engery insights says that it is only available to customers with smart meters.

• How do I get a smart meter?
• How much does it cost to install a smart meter?
• If we are considering solar panels in the near future would we be better waiting till we do that before getting a smart meter?

Sorry that no-one has replied.

From what I know you can contact AGL and ask for a smart meter, there are numerous benefits for AGL to this and mainly relating to cost savings.
