Oh wow that is extremely alarming tbh ,have just moved n joined
I thought that the fortnightly installment price was quite high tho also ,but I am a new customer n haven't looked into different plans ,tariffs ECT at this point
Thankyou for sharing & letting ppl know as that would be a much high bill at the end of the period also
The fact it has happened before maybe worth just checking what rights & obligations there are for you

I had the same sort of issues with Energy Australia at last property for the entire 6 years I was there , unfortunately no actually customer service it seems now days so disheartening
