Maximum number of micro inverter panels

I want to keep my feed in tariff ( I am disappointed to have lost the 20c to a small 8c). I have a three phase system with 32*285w micro inverter panels (9.12kw). In an hour I have never produced more than 6Kw in an hour. The inverter in part of the panel. Max production I have ever produced is 59Kw in a day. Its all good but running a 16Kw ducted air-conditioning uses a lot of power. Its good. My question is what is the limit of panels to still keep the residential FIT.?

It seems the best solar production is 2/3 of the total.

Is it total solar panel capacity? That would be only another three panels. OR

Is it  Total power produced in an hour? That would allow me up to another 20 panels (14.8Kw total)

Another 10 panels would be great 🙂

Hi @DuncanJX,

Welcome to AGL Neighbourhood!

To receive retailer feed-in tariff, inverter capacity is capped differently between states. I can let you know what is applicable to you, if you can let me know what state this property is located in.

Thanks,

Hi @DuncanJX,

Thank you for that information. To receive retailer Feed-in tariff in Queensland, inverter capacity limit is 30kW. You also cannot be receiving solar feed-in through a government scheme.

Hope this helps.

Thanks,
