I received a text on Sunday from AGL Energy reminding me that my gas account is due to be billed. It also gave the link to provide my meter reading via the website or app by today 26th Nov. I just provided the meter reading as of today yet the notice on the website indicated that my bill is already on its way and the reading would be taken into account for the next billing period.
I think the text message received was unclear and needs rewording. Why not actually say that an estimate bill will be sent, and to please provide a current reading (via app/website) to assist AGL estimate for the following billing period, since it appears this is actually what is occuring?
