Direct debit early payment

If I have direct debit set up but pay early, will the direct debit still be made?

Provided your manual payment clears in our system a day before your direct debit date, your direct debit will not be taken. With this in mind, we encourage customers to make payment 3-4 days before their direct debit date to be on the safe side if they do choose to make a manual payment.
