So, you get a text from AGL stating that your gas meter is due to be read, and given the option to send a reading. You do that. Then the next day a contractor reads the meter AGAIN. Result - you get two bills. One for the date you sent a reading then ANOTHER bill two days later to add on the day’s worth of gas that you used. 

Either stop asking for a customer reading or don’t send a contractor out!! What a waste of resources. Bet the customer has to absorb the cost of contractors.
