Dear All. Our households new solar system was commissioned a week ago. So currently we are generating solar electricity which we partially use and are donating the excess for nothing into the grid until AGL makes the next move.
What does it take so long for our FIT to commence and should we be reimbursed (the pitiful amount) in retrospect?
Welcome to AGL Neighbourhood! If you haven't done so already, you will need to contact Solar New Connections team so they can organise meter reconfiguration for you. Their number is 1800 680 430 and they're available Monday – Friday, 8.30am – 6.00pm (AEST).
If you have already organised this, they'll be able to advise how long it takes for this process to be completed. Until your meter is reconfigured, your Solar should not be turned on. Please consult with your installers regarding this.
