Hi,

I want to ask if anyone know exactly how to find your electricity meter. I asked AGL about how they sourced my meter reads during the activation but I was told that it was read by the distributor instead of AGL themselves.

Hi there @TC2, welcome to Neighbourhood! 

Meters can vary from house to house, but you'll usually find them on the outside wall of the property, so the meter reader can easily get access to them. If it's not a smart meter, you'll probably be looking for a meter with a few little clock dials on it, or a digital display that scrolls through different readings!

Thank you for the response. I am still unable to locate the meters. Are there any public resources where I can check whether it is a smart meter or not? Moreover, given AGL has recorded the initial readings during the activation, I think they may know where it is located.
