Hi @Shawn2, Welcome to neighbourhood. In most circumstances, we just ask that you ensure they have access to the meter and main switches. If nobody is present, some distributors will connect power but not flick the main switch so you will need to do that yourself, but otherwise if they have access to the equipment you'll be fine.
The main time this is different is in QLD, as Energex might require a visual inspection of the fixtures and fittings before restoring power, and someone will need to be present for that unless the house is completely empty.
