Wow.....Incant beleive after having a great chat with the guy who set me up to now have to do this. I was told my address was ready to go for NBN, no extra charges or setup fees, BYO modem or use ours (why not?).... I get the modem today and call the help line for the setup, only to find out MY PLACE ISN'T NBN READY AND I HAVE TO FORK OUT $300 TO HAVE IT HOOKED UP!! NO WAY!! YOU GUYS ARE COPPING THIS ONE, NOT ME. I ASKED IF IT WAS READY TO GO AND WAS ASSURED THAT ALL IT TOOK WAS FOR ME TO GET THE MODEM!!! I have already talked to the TIO, and will not be paying for their mistake!! Someone better get back to me ASAP!!
