A new way to keep your AGL account secure!

 

We’ve rolled out something new in My Account to help you keep your details safe and secure, the My Account Security Centre. This update is all about making it easier for you to check, update and strengthen your account security, all in one simple place.

What is the Security Centre?

The Security Centre is your one‑stop spot in My Account to help protect your AGL account and personal information.

 

When you log in, you’ll see a Security tile that guides you through a quick check‑up, with clear tips and easy actions you can take — no technical knowledge needed.

 

Think of it as a friendly reminder to make sure everything’s up to date

What you can do right now

 

With the Security Centre, you can easily:

  • 🔑 Update your password
  • 📱 Check or confirm your mobile number
  • Add an extra layer of protection with a security code when you sign in
  • 👥 Manage who’s allowed to access your account (Authorised Persons)
  • 📘 Learn simple tips to stay safe online

All designed to help prevent issues before they happen.

Many customers are already using the Security Centre to review their settings and we’re really encouraged by how helpful it’s been so far. It will also soon be available on the Mobile App.
